First Test VR Headset from 2 phones

I want to create a VR headset with a very large FOV and a decent resolution, so I am using two iPhones (iPhone 5S) to create a smartphone based VR headset. I am using two lenses from a generic Colorcross smartphone VR headset to use with the phones, and I am using Lego Mindstorm pieces to build the headset.

I first used pipe cleaners and the lenses to create the connection of the lenses to the phones

Then, I started to create the Lego Mindstorms structure to house the two phones and lenses.

I am trying to view content on this, since there is no content for the field of view, but I am using YouTube 360 videos to try to maximize the view, but there is a distortion, so the image is not very clear.
